Refund & Return Policy

This Refund & Cancellation (“Policy”) explains Codyin’s practices regarding refunds, cancellations, and deferrals for our self-paced internship programs. By enrolling in any Codyin program, you agree to the terms below.

1. Refund Eligibility

Pre-Start Full Refund

You may request a 100% refund if you cancel within 7 days of payment and before your cohort’s start date.

Week 1 Partial Refund

If you cancel after the start date but within the first week, you are eligible for a 50% refund of your enrollment fee.

No Refund After Week 1

Cancellations made after the first week are not eligible for a refund.

2. Deferral & Transfer Options

One-Time Deferral

You may defer to the next available cohort at no additional cost if you request before Week 2 begins.

Track Transfers

If you wish to switch learning tracks (e.g., from Python to Web Development) within the first week, contact support. Fee differences will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis.

3. Non-Refundable Items

  • Transaction Fees: Bank or payment-gateway charges are non-refundable.
  • Scholarships & Discounts: Refunds are calculated on the net amount paid after discounts or promo codes.

4. How to Request a Refund or Deferral

Submit a Request:

  • Email [email protected] with the subject “Refund Request” or “Deferral Request.”
  • Include your name, email, program, cohort start date, and reason for cancellation or deferral.

Acknowledgment:

We will acknowledge your request within one business day.

Processing:

  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.
  • Banks may take 5–10 business days to reflect the amount.
  • Deferral confirmations are sent via email within 2 business days.

5. Exceptions & Special Circumstances

  • Medical or Emergency Leave: In case of verified emergencies, we may approve a pro-rata refund or additional deferral at our discretion.
  • Program Cancellation: If Codyin cancels a program, you will receive a 100% refund or free transfer to another cohort.

6. Changes to This Policy

Codyin may revise this Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected with a new “Effective Date.” Continued enrollment after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
